Job Description

Sr. Principal Architect, Data Management->> Researches and implements corporate data management strategy to improve the company's advantage in the market place. Works with the enterprise business architects, application architects, database architects and technology architects for deploying technology solutions. Strategizes and contributes to enterprise level technological initiatives on data governance, management and usage. Ensures high quality delivery of the company's data architecture and data administrative solutions and services. Defines data architecture for corporate data governance and database design principles. Leads research, definition and implementation of corporate data architecture governance and database design disciplines for business data solutions. Defines and promotes common data architecture designs methodology, standards and practices across the enterprise. Strives to drive more value out of the company's data asset. Provides enterprise data architecture planning, design and deployment in business solutions. Directs time to market and productive data solutions, in compliance with corporate policy. Provides data architecture consulting services on more complex issues throughout the enterprise. Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives.


Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 12+ years of experience in data management services required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
