Job Description

Manages medium- to large-sized teams responsible for multiple marketing functions in support of the firm's key strategic initiatives and business goals. Strategic Executive who directs, plans, and executes multi disciplinary functions across marketing, brand, digital and communications in support of the firm's key strategic initiatives and business goals in addition to strategic leadership driving brand awareness/governance, client experience and employee engagement. Business/Industry acumen required. Applies strong writing and communications skills. Maintains collaborative relationships with senior business stakeholders and external partners to align activities to key strategic objectives and disseminate firm-level messages across teams. Oversees strategic planning process across functions. Provides strategic guidance and creates compelling vision for the function. Generates and considers actions for achieving long-term goals. Helps drive strategies most likely to succeed and allocates resources accordingly. Aligns resources with other business areas. Rapidly assesses and applies effective decision making. Industry expert. Executive visibility and participation in organization and industry events and media. Educates clients and shares information to build their understanding of issues, products and solutions. Communications broadly across organization. Develops standard operating procedures, policies and overall guidelines within their functions. Proactively proposes improvements and solutions. Identifies and champions the best creative ideas and actively advances them. Builds excitement across teams for creative options. Assumes responsibility for the outcome of functional or business initiatives. Quickly and decisively takes action while mitigating risk. Manages multiple teams, including coaching, performance management and resource allocation. Fosters open and collaboration across teams. Models and champions firms values such diversity, teamwork, client focus, integrity and excellence. Responsible for the financial resources of the area, ensuring adherence to budget and management of expenses. Approves and negotiates annual budget, contracts and T&E. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.


Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 12-15 years of related experience, with 3-5 years of management experience preferred; experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
