Services include trade communication and processing, accounting, derivatives processing, collateral administration, reconciliation, performance measurement and data management and warehousing to create a comprehensive solution for investment managers.
Leads a project stream/s for a client onboarding of large (+1 year; +$1mm budget) middle office program, consisting of multiple teams
Working with client, 3rd parties, and internal functions (technology, operations, risk, compliance, etc.) to understand client requirements, and to develop and execute delivery plans
Responsible for a positive client experience during the workstream lifecycle
Core Execution Responsibilities
Client facing, single point of contact responsible for the end to end client experience and satisfaction during the implementation process
Collaboration with the client, internal, and 3rd parties to develop and execute an implementation plan, establish expectations and providing transparency of timelines using project management principles and practices;
Ensure engagement of key stakeholders throughout life of program; effectively communicating and managing all related issues or risks;
Act as a key advisor to the senior stakeholders to achieve goals and overcome obstacles
Own and drive identification, transparency, escalation, and resolution of risks and issues to closure
Assesses potential program risks and action strategies to minimize the impact of these.
Develops and maintains relationships with Program manager, technology and operations to report and resolve risks and issues;
Resolves the most complex issues or inquiries from senior-level or key individuals at clients, as needed.
Able to visualize the top down approach and ensure consistency across the work stream/s with a key focus on quality and content (instead of just the process)
Application of project management methodology to develop and execute implementation plans
Ability to soundly execute quantitative and qualitative analysis, draw salient conclusions and present information in a concise and effective manner
Organizational skills both personally and across the working team to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment (time management and attention to detail)
Interactive personal and communication skills and ability to influence others for positive results
Ability to adapt messaging and presentations to meet the needs of a variety of audiences including senior stakeholders and executive management is a must.
Ability to interpret issues raised then prioritize and communicate to key stakeholders regarding resolution plans and expectations
Deals comfortably with ambiguity and uncertainty; is flexible and has the ability to create clarity and consensus
Skilled at making connections as well as understanding, planning and or reacting to changes across or within policies, processes, and work streams.
Must have Experience
5-10 years background in financial services in either a front or middle office capacity; strong knowledge of institutional investment practices; and at least
3 - 5 years project/program management experience in the financial services industry
Subject matter expertise in Middle Office domains (trade lifecycle, portfolio accounting, collateral management, asset servicing, performance analytics, and information delivery)
Demonstrated experience driving client facing projects or programs including large-scale organizational change efforts
Management of project financials
Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to map and document progress of complex workflows
