Job Description

Candidate will be part of a team responsible for developing an automated DevOps framework which will facilitate continuous integration and delivery for the entire application development community.
  Existing DevOps solutions will be expanded to incorporate various automated testing tools, security tools, JIRA integration, and Cloud support.     In addition, management dashboards, development team reports, and SonarQube code quality enhancements will require integration into the overall framework.     The ideal candidate will have both a strong technical skillset as well as “soft” skills, including: Documentation writing; PowerPoint; basic graphic design; and the ability to write 5-10 page requirement and design documents. Teamwork skills are also essential since the candidate will be working on a small project team that can vary from 1-4 members.    

Since most work will be performed on distributed systems, a general knowledge of the major systems is required. In addition at least one programming language (Java) and one scripting language will be needed. Knowledge of SQL databases, particularly MS SQL Server, will be needed as well as an understanding of data base design, and data structures such as lists and trees. Finally, design skills for Business Process Management is a plus.








Lead Software Configuration Analyst->> Analyzes and develops new or revised SCM procedures and processes. May direct and provide technical guidance to assigned project teams. Leads less complex product migrations through all systems environments. Analyzes and documents systems requirements. Recommends software design based on requirements. Develops custom portions of the system, including authoring of programs and scripts. Supports development and test staff, troubleshooting production and development problems and assisting in the resolution of data, environmental and build related issues. Leads documentation of SCM procedures and processes. Monitors and reviews software/hardware requirements and systems defects. Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives.


Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred. 4-6 years of experience in a systems SCM environment, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
