The Senior Portfolio Analyst is responsible for assisting fixed income index and quantitative active portfolio managers in the management of portfolios, both domestic and international.  The Senior Portfolio Analyst will work closely with the portfolio managers to calculate the effect of any strategy changes on the portfolio and analyze the suitability of the transaction. He/she may conduct research.

 

The Senior Portfolio Analyst will prepare trades and monitor compliance notifications.  He/She will be in charge of investment reporting and analytics for their assigned investment teams and will support the marketing and client service teams with data requests.  Responsibilities may also include interpreting performance attribution, tracking error reports and generating other portfolio analytics.

 

No direct reports.

 

Conduct detailed portfolio analysis and prepare reports to be utilized for impactful business decisions.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

3-5 years prior financial/investment experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

MBA and/or CFA preferred. MFE a plus.

1+ year of relevant experience preferred.

Knowledge of fixed income.

Strong command of data science and data analysis tools, such as Python, R, or other statistics packages.

Excellent analytical skills, high aptitude for quantitative reasoning and problem-solving.

Extreme attention to detail and high degree of organization.

Strong team player with a positive attitude.
