Job Description

Global Business Change - M4 Provides functional or regional leadership through Global Business Change managers. Responsible for setting functional strategy, promoting the Global Business Change function to executive and senior management across the global business and accountable for achievement of functional goals and objectives. Has extensive experience working with complex, high quantity, often contradictory information. Fully understands and is able to influence the commercial environment based on own breadth of experience. Has strong knowledge of competitors products and ensures organization-wide compliance with current regulatory and legal obligations of locations managed. Provides Group Leadership for multiple teams across multiple locations. Drives or acts as Sponsor for multiple projects, programs or multiple portfolios of change. Leads collaboration with other specialist functions to achieve project/program objectives and produce deliverables. Provides clear direction and leadership to multiple Global Business Change teams within the group and ensures functions adherence to Global Business Process Change governance standards and standard project methodology. May enlist the work of more junior managers as subordinates on larger projects/programs. Manages resource plans and roadmaps across geographical areas. Approves plans for workload and resource allocation. Approves resource plans and roadmaps developed by managers within their Group. Leads and manages the Global Business Change function in alignment with established functional goals and objectives. Utilizes fully developed analytical and communication skills, working independently under pressure, innovatively problem solves and is able to effectively attain buy-in from other team members and Senior Management to drive solutions forward. Handles escalation of issues that will significantly impact delivery of the project or program. Continues to strengthen relationships built with internal teams, suppliers and clients. Manages communication flow between all relevant parties involved in the project or program to report/receive reports on progress, risks and issues. Consistently anticipates and manages client expectations. Looks ahead to future possibilities and translates these into actionable proposals/business plans. Expectations management is aimed at securing favorable terms for the Bank while ensuring client satisfaction. Coaches, develops and supports junior managers through development planning, performance planning, objective setting and performance review. Leads the Global Business Change function. Manages the Global Business Change function through the work of senior managers. Sets functional timelines, budgets, strategy and policy. Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 10-15 years of total work experience preferred with at least 3-5 years in management preferred. Knowledge of the various functions within financial services/asset servicing industry is preferred.
