Senior Group Manager, Due Diligence, Third Party Governance

Job Description

Responsible for establishing and maintaining the framework of processes, policies, systems and activities required for the management of the due diligence of inter-affiliate service providers across legal entities globally.  Identifies gaps in key regulator global requirements and designs, develops and leads programs to ensure these gaps are closed. Establishes and coordinates processes to evaluate the quality of inter-affiliate service provider performance across the organization. Directs the activities of professional staff (within the Office of Third Party Governance and local legal entity outsourcing teams).  Responsible for ensuring that DD plans are comprehensive and fit for purpose, and for consolidating the results of DD reviews conducted by subject matter experts from around the firm.  Presents results of DD reviews to global senior management. Maintains strong working relationships with key business partners throughout the organization.   Develops the inter-affiliate due diligence governance model, including establishing standards for performance metrics and associated reporting.  Responsible for maintaining the forward calendar of reviews and staffing.   Directs professional staff and more junior managers in preparing TPG related reports. Distributes and presents reports to senior management on a predetermined basis, including performance metrics and associated reporting.   Continuously monitors the regulatory landscape for opportunities for improvement. Initiates projects to revise policies and plans, as needed, and works closely with relevant business partners including Legal and Compliance to ensure accurate compliance with regulations. Closely involved in the preparation for and delivery of interactions with regulatory bodies. Engages with other functions across the firm including Legal, Compliance, Risk and Technology to ensure that appropriate standards for inter-affiliate procedures and performance documentation is maintained in line with departmental standards and governance requirements. Interacts with senior stakeholders up to EC-level to assist with the development and implementation of wider OTPG management initiatives.   Recruits, directs, influences and develops professional staff and more junior managers, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability function as a team or lead their team. Responsible for the performance management processes for more junior managers.
Required skills:  
  • Significant experience in Procurement and/or Third Party Governance activities in a multinational organization.
  • Strong project management, resource scheduling and organizational skills required.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand business deliverables, and functional requirements/performance standards across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent presentation skills and with the ability to synthesize complex topics for senior management.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others.
