Job Description

We are looking for an individual who can help coach 225 application development teams across the Asset Servicing Technology (AST) Division to promote coding best practices, help improve code quality, and improve the stability and performance of the code after deployment to the production environment.  The resource would leverage information provided by CAST AIP (static source code analysis tool) to identify and prioritize the areas of focus.
The role will involve:
1) Day-to-day maintenance of the CAST software running on a Windows Server, resolving security vulnerabilities on the platform in a timely manner & periodic software and hardware upgrades. 2) Managing the tasks required to onboard new applications to the CAST program. 3) Driving application teams to improve their software over time by meeting with application teams and making recommendations where they should focus their time to improve the quality of their software. 4) Periodically reporting application CAST scores to executive management team.


The ideal candidate would have the following skill sets:

A)           Ability to write and manage Python, Windows Powershell and MS DOS shell to maintain the CAST software and improve the level of automation

B)            Strong communication skills

C)            Infrastructure and/or Project Management experience

D)           Background in application development using Java and/or .NET

E)            Good with Excel
