Team Description:

The EMEA Risk Chief Administration Office provides day to day support as directed and oversight of the delivery of significant risk function-change and risk-remediation projects across the region. The team enable the EMEA Chief Risk Officer’s effective management of the risk function. 


Position Summary:

Actively participates in strategic initiatives that have significant impact within Risk Management in the region.

Owning and delivering on a diverse set of deliverables, working alongside senior leaders within Risk Management

Managing and supporting the activities of an effective risk governance and operations function

Working with Internal Audit fostering a close relationship on key governance and oversight matters

Ensure effective delivery of regulatory review, regulatory change requirements or any ad hoc risk project activity, supporting the timely closure and successful delivery, working with respective EMEA Risk Heads (Operational, Market and Credit) in addition to the Line of Business Risk Managers

An ability to work both independently and also manage other governance colleagues involved in project work is key.

Evaluate and challenge processes and decisions as appropriate.

Represent Risk on certain project steering committees and working groups as required and requested.

Independently works on more complex projects related to budget, business plans, risk-related items, regulatory items, communications (presentations/speeches) and implementation of policies, standards, and/or processes.

Analyses project implementation status and provides feedback to Sr. Specialist or Principal Planning Consultants or senior managers.

Makes recommendations to improve the project status.

Works with the management team to implement strategic initiatives.

Works with the business or function management team to implement and enforce policies, standards, and processes.

Assists in planning and administering business-led programs, such as people-related management, global location strategy, meeting management, etc.



Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required; MBA preferred

Experience in a CAO/COO functional role
