Primary Responsibilities:


The senior marketing analytics specialist will be responsible for informing data-driven decisions across global marketing. This individual will be recommending data-driven decisions, identifying new data models, building new data capabilities, onboarding new technologies, managing data governance, helping integrate data platforms, providing the business requirements to the technical teams, managing strategic consultants,  and providing business insights about clients and prospects in order to drive meaningful outcomes. As a senior member they should be able to guide team members with analysis and best practices with a focus on strategic business decisions. Ideal candidate has experience building and implementing data infrastructures, data technologies and modernizing data practices. Having experience setting up ETL services, data lakes and marketing data technologies like Adobe, Marketo and CRM a plus.


Other Responsibilities May or May Not Include:


Consults with internal business groups to provide digital content strategy, digital analytics, or digital user experience and platform development services or technical support. Manages requirements gathering and project planning pertaining to the digital marketing focus with which the role is aligned. May work with management to help develop the overall digital marketing strategy for the organization from the perspective of the assigned digital marketing focus (i.e., Digital Content Strategy, Digital Analytics and Insights, or Digital User Experience and Platform Development). Serves as the main project lead. May schedule content updates; fields complex requests for digital content updates, analytics, and/or platform updates to improve user experience. May help manage the content management system, including content updates and posting somewhat sensitive postings, or collaborate with business managers to produce social media channel campaigns using significant knowledge of best practices. Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for the execution of all phases of the digital content posting, analytics and insights, or user experience and platforms implementation process. Contributes to the standardization of project methodology. Works with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various digital marketing efforts. Analyzes internal and competitor digital information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for sites and channels used by a specific business group. Uses tracked data to help the business group, the branding team, and agency partners understand optimization opportunities and client needs and to compare their performance against competitors (e.g., LinkedIn traction, Twitter followership, search engine activity). Creates time tables and project plans. Analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, user impact and compatibility of new content, channels, and/or platforms with existing hardware and other programs. May monitor leads that come into the BNY Mellon sites and channels and assess whether they can be considered marketing qualified. Escalates marketing qualified leads to the appropriate lines of business and tracks whether they convert to relationships and/or revenue. Takes lead for establishing, implementing and monitoring 'best practices' for technical development methodologies and tools. Advises management on upcoming digital marketing issues and trends in content development, social reputation tracking, digital analytics, or user experience best practices; may anticipates issues, participate in improvement initiatives and influences the development of nuanced solutions. Proposes innovative, creative digital and technology solutions. May complete tasks related to posting on corporate branded channels, intranets, and websites, including regular maintenance, refreshes, and updating BNYMellon.com. No direct reports, provides guidance to less experienced staff. Leads projects to include assigning work and monitoring quality and completion. Manages to approved budget, submits expenses. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred. Experience with software development, HTML development, and/or coding preferred; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
