Job Description

Business Planning and Analysis - IC4

Serves in a key position, responsible for optimizing the revenue stream from new and existing Registered Investment Advisor firms, multifamily offices, advisors in transition, broker-dealers and other channels within the Financial Services space.


Works collaboratively with the Business Development and Relationship Management teams within the broader Advisor Solutions organization to develop profitability packages for new business and re-pricings.


Examines the existing client base and partners with the Relationship Managers to identify/qualify opportunities to optimize profitability.  Develops optimization strategies and produces the project plans in support of their execution.  Responsible for execution of the plan, alongside a cross-functional team representing Relationship Management, Business Development, Billing, Platform Strategy and other key stakeholders.  Responsible for developing clear and concise communication/collateral through PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and other audience-friendly media.


Mitigate risk and liaises with the Billing team to promote greater operational accuracy in billing setup.


Conducts complex analyses and reporting in support of business development and growth-oriented initiatives and/or strategic/operational planning activities. Often assigned as a project lead on these efforts and will elicit input from the broader team. Defines, reengineers and institutionalizes new approaches to required analytics and processes.


Determines where measurement gaps exist and devises new metrics or reports to fill those gaps. Reviews operational data/metrics, analyzes and synthesizes the data, then compiles into reports or presentations.


Navigates across the business to effectively complete tasks.  Develops consultative partnerships with internal teams and leaders to understand their strategic objectives, key performance indicators and reporting requirements. Communicates with internal teams and leaders to stay abreast of organization and function operations and is familiar with company practices relevant to metrics, performance indicators, reporting protocols, etc.


Serves as a resource to other team members to uphold collaboration and continuity measures. Collaborates with and supports leaders and their teams to ensure analytical and reporting needs are aligned, and supports business and operating results.


No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of the broader organization, inclusive of Business Development, Relationship Management, Platform Strategy and/or Client Experience.  Employs collaborative techniques and promotes education/training to foster adoption and clarity amongst peers.  Operates as a hybrid project manager and business analyst, with a keen focus on communication and written and verbal delivery (being mindful of audience).

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
