Job Description

Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for all aspects of quality control and testing throughout the software development lifecycle. This involves continual development and implementation of rigorous testing methods and procedures to evaluate the quality of software projects.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

·       Manage a team of technical Quality Assurance Analysts both onshore and offshore.

·       Team management is required along with hands on testing throughout all test phases: Application Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, End to End Testing as well as coordinating and tracking User Acceptance Testing progress.

·       Apply test methodologies and product knowledge in the design of tests and testing strategies

·       Write test plans based upon requirements, develop functional test scripts, perform testing, identify regression test suites and recommend tests to be included in an automated test suite.

·       Direct interaction with Business Analysts, Software Developers and Business Users to ensure a high quality product with the desired business need is delivered.

·       Work closely with Business Users to assist in onboarding to new features, functions and applications.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in a systems quality environment required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
