SrPrin, Enterprise Risk
Reports to the Head of Enterprise Risk Framework. Role is to help enhance the Risk Identification and Assessment framework in line with regulatory guidance (SR 15-18). Work with the risk domain experts to establish a structured framework to integrate input processes (Operational Risk Control Self Assessments/ Other risk categories) and to document control framework. Develop a process to link with downstream processes (Capital Planning, Risk Appetite etc.). Key responsibilities include:
Conduct quarterly refresh process in conjunction with senior leadership across the firm, in line with regulatory requirements. Relies on existing processes and runs workshops that identify key risks, new and emerging risks and drivers of financial performance in both the normal course of business and under stress conditions. Maintains a comprehensive enterprise inventory of risks, under a repeatable and documented process, reviewing and updating the inventory per regulatory guidance
Review/ update as necessary, framework, materiality assessment methodology, associated policy and procedures
Ensure consistent application of agreed control framework and materiality assessment, clarify questions, adjust framework
Provide input and relevant documentation towards the Capital Planning process.
Develop a process to link with downstream processes – Capital Planning, Risk Appetite etc.
Prepare relevant presentation materials to facilitate discussions at various levels including the Senior Risk Committee and Board of Directors
Prior experience managing strategic and/or cross-organizational projects
Must have experience coordinating work across multiple disciplines or organizations and be adept communicating and at building consensus across organizational and functional lines
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must also possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and must be able to filter, prioritize, analyze and validate information
Must be able to effectively interact with senior/executive management.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to achieve positive outcomes with constituencies over whom the incumbent has no direct authority
QualificationsBachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 12-15 years of total work experience preferred. Business Analytics or Risk, Financial or Regulatory Reporting background preferred.
