The Group Manager of the Executive Planning team will be responsible for overseeing and leading the teams support for Pershing s CEO and COO in content development and coordination of senior level meetings.
Provide executive support to the firm's CEO and COO, including providing support for senior level meetings, responding to or following up on selected correspondence on behalf of the firm's CEO and COO and managing follow up items for the firm's senior managers.
Oversee the development of the Executive Committee and Business Review meeting schedule, to ensure recurring updates are schedule and business owners to establish presentation time and date. Recommend and implement process and content enhancements to streamline meeting management and administration for Executive Committee and Business Review meetings.
Manage and enhance both the process and content development for executive presentations and speeches for the firm's CEO and COO, including assisting in the coordination and summation of firm and industry information for presentation external customers.
Collaborate with the Finance team and Business Unit Controllers to identify opportunities for enhanced reporting of the firms new business and key performance indicator reports for senior management, or the format and distribution of existing reports.
Qualifications Minimum 8 years of previous corporate or strategic marketing/communications experience in the securities industry. Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking, Management of direct reports Ability to develop and execute communications campaigns (speeches, e-mail, executive messaging, etc.) Self-starter and display excellent relationship-building and influencing skills. Have a proven record to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines and priorities as well as managing and inspiring direct reports. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with many areas of the firm and senior levels of management. College degree required.
