Job Description

Under the direction of Head of Internal Controls, Risk Management and Compliance for Global Client Management and Credit Services businesses; the Sr. Specialist Administration & Planning, leads and manages highly complex projects of significant impact within the business.

 

Candidate will lead, plan, execute, administer, monitor and report on both recurring and one time projects.   Candidate is an individual contributor who will execute and be accountable for highly complex projects / responsibilities and will collaborate with team members on the execution of other initiatives as needed.  Responsibilities and projects are related to internal controls; risk management; monitoring business risk; creation and implementation of policies, standards, business processes and change management.

 

All responsibilities require a high degree of collaboration with client facing staff, senior business managers and corporate partners in legal, compliance, internal audit and operations.

 

Candidate works with business’ senior management to understand business impact within scope of team responsibilities and provide relevant guidance, solutions, communication and oversees and leads execution and implementation of solutions.  Conducts advanced research and analysis and presents findings to assist with strategic management initiatives related to internal controls, risk management and compliance.   Works with the Internal Controls, Risk Management and Compliance team and business leadership team to implement, communicate, create change management and ensure business’ compliance with policies, standards and processes.  Contributes to the achievement of the business’ strategic and risk management objectives. 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required; MBA preferred 8-10 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred; at least 3 years in project management or applicable business or function and cost-effective budgetary responsibility; experience in the securities industry is a plus.
