The main role of the Fund Accounting & Tax Oversight Administrator is to perform the Fund Accounting & Tax operational work (oversight review of the daily FA & Tax tasks, reporting preparation for regulatory and tax purposes), by ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with the internal procedure and maintain a consistently high level of service for the department.
Overview of Responsibilities
The Administrator will be responsible for
Ensuring that the daily FA review is performed within agreed deadline with respective backup completed.
Ensuring that the daily Investor Tax (German Equity Ratio, Belgian TIS) review is performed within agreed deadline with respective backup completed.
Reporting any issue clearly and concisely to his supervisor.
Preparing relevant data downloads for fund accounting or tax reporting that has to be completed for the different countries.
Maintain delivery of a high quality service level to clients and other departments within BNY Mellon ensuring any queries are dealt with in a professional manner by the team and escalating where appropriate. Ensure a professional relationship is maintained with clients at all times.
Be graduated in Economics or Accounting from University or from a business school.
Some experience in fund industry is an asset
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Strong ability to work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail
Language: English required due to business reason
