Under Minimal direction, conducts assigned operational and data analysis activities related to Client Lifecycle Management team (The OnBoarding of a client, the maintenance to that on boarded account and offboarding). This function also includes enabling and maintaining the external trading platforms that a client chooses to transact on and maintaining static data.
Candidate will work closely with the Transition Management Group (TMG, relationship manager within the FX space) to facilitate a positive client On-Boarding experience.
Prepares for the opening of new accounts once due diligence on KYC and AML has been completed. Candidate will perform KYC/AML on Investment Manager underlying asset owner accounts trading into markets. This could be on an asset owner that is new to the bank and requires a new Account ID OR an existing account within the bank that needs a refresh. Candidate should be familiar with global/regional AML/KYC requirements.
Candidate will perform Regulatory checks relevant to the accounts being on boarded. Candidate should be familiar with global/regional REG requirements ( DF, EMIR MIFID).
This process requires the review of an Account Opening Checklist for accuracy and completeness.Candidate should also strive to ensure all SLAs are met.
Candidate will need to coordinate with different departments to complete tasks and documentation in time. Communicate progress to team and escalate issues or potential project delays to the necessary stakeholders. Escalates findings to senior colleagues,Ability to adapt to process change and REG change. Comfortable with raising issues to senior management when found
No direct reports. Regional oversite will exist in all locations. May have training responsibilities in some geographies.
Candidate should be comfortable navigating a large institution
Responsible for small, less complex clients or supports non-complex project phases and contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 0-3 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in client-facing or project management preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
KYC/ REG experience is preferred
Fundamental understanding of the FX space is preferred
Excel knowledge preferred
