Role description and opportunities

Do you have a passion for integrating platforms and creating the foundation that drives amazing digital experiences? We’re looking for team members who enjoying integrating different systems through APIs as well as using automation tools to help create workflows for data, process and digital marketing operations. As a senior marketing developer and integration specialist, you will work with a team who will use workflow and ETL tools like Alteryx to connect and automate processes. This is a technical role where the ability to quickly understand different systems in order to help integrate data and processes is crucial.

As a developer focused on integrating and automating our marketing stack through APIs & other integrations, you will be a technical subject matter expert for our third party platforms and internal systems, building integrations and workflows that work seamlessly and answer top use-case requirements. You will also work within our digital development team supporting web and email development. The ideal candidate will have a track record for driving deeply technical solutions at a rapid pace and with high customer impact.

Key responsibilities include the following
  • Work with customers and technology partners to integrate marketing systems and data

  • Ensure 3rd-party products integrate into the marketing technology stack in a safe and coherent way

  • Drive the evolution of the marketing technology stack via automation and deeper integrations

  • Work with highly talented teams to execute the API and marketing technology integration roadmap

  • Create system architectures and develop working prototypes with small teams

  • Onboard databases and systems, developing APIs, SOAP
  • Rewrite legacy data integrations to follow modern standards and practices

  • Provide guidance and expertise on process and integration improvements through various combinations of marketing technology

  • Clearly communicate timelines, process, and results with stakeholders

  • Take ownership of technical projects while meeting deliverable dates with your teammates, following an agile and test-driven approach



    A successful candidate should ideally have these qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical development

  • BA, BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, VBScript

  • Ability to code merging and branching methodologies using GitHub

  • Astute written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consistently address our digital marketing needs

  • Write automation scripts, specifically for QA and deployment where applicable

  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented culture, delivering a significant individual contribution while collaborating with and strengthening teammates

  • Proven track record of integrating API-based commercial software products

  • Ability to integrate cloud-based services with internally hosted solutions

  • Experience with Adobe experience manager, Social Media, Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, R, Python, SQL/Oracle and/or Alteryx a plus
