Job Description

The BNY Mellon Proxy Voting and Governance Committee (PV&GC or the Committee) is responsible for making proxy voting decisions for securities held in accounts over which investment manager member firms have proxy voting authority. The Committee establishes appropriate proxy voting policies, procedures, and guidelines subject, in the case of the mutual funds, to such approval by a funds' Board as the Board may require. The committee is composed of a voting representative and an alternate from each member firm and non-voting advisers as needed.

The Operations Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the day to day research and processing activity in support of accurate and timely vote execution on behalf of the PV&GC member businesses. The incumbent will continuously review appropriate controls and monitoring mechanisms to ensure adherence to policy, guidelines, vendor obligations and voting procedures while coordinating all activities carefully with the Governance manager and the Committee.


  • Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of total work experience preferred, preferably within Investment Management operations
