Leads the global implementation of the source-to-pay strategy across multiple activities, such as Systems, Analysis, Invoice Processing, Sustainable Procurement, Contract Management. Accountable for increasing the capacity and efficiency of Global Procurement by developing and executing strategic plans that improve the source-to-pay process. Leads professional staff indirectly through more junior global managers. Serves as the primary global S2P contact.
Manages all aspects of the overall Global Procurement source-to-pay activities including implementation. Responsible for partnering with cross-functional stakeholders including Risk, Legal, Technology and Operations teams to coordinate the development of coordinated plans across all of the S2P activities. Develop an overall resource plan and work closely with senior management to agree a budget for efficient delivery of these plans.
Actively engaged with cross-functional stakeholders to develop overall S2P performance reporting; responsible for creation of the Global Procurement performance scorecard. Responsible for developing reporting across activities which may be used directly or indirectly for a range of external recipients including Regulators, Shareholder Reporting and external rating agencies.
Defines and establishes processes and standards for the assigned activity for implementing and tracking projects throughout their lifecycle. Oversees the activities of all regional managers, ensuring that all documents pertaining to the assigned activity are inputted and maintained in the appropriate database.
Leads the overall systems development and management across all S2P activities. Including obtaining endorsement of senior management up to EC level for investment cases associated with systems implementation. Engages proactively with the corporate technology department and 3rd party systems providers as required in order to develop and execute effective implementation plans.
Recruits, directs, motivates and develops global staff and more junior managers, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to effectively lead their teams. Responsible for the performance management processes for managers.
