Lead Mgr,Appl Development
As the Corporate Technology Finance Production Services Manager, you will manage a team of support engineers responsible for several mission critical systems across a range of technologies.
The team is made up of engineers following a DevOps model and responsible for setting up and maintaining the CI/CD environments along with all aspects of application support, incident, problem and change management. The team will work closely with application development organization on the introduction of changes to production and will be responsible for ongoing operations of the production applications.
Manage a team of global level support engineers in a follow-the-sun support model
Ability to deal with time sensitive issues in support of critical service level commitments
Set direction and manage the CI/CD and release automation processes for Finance.
Respond to escalations from Level 1 support and manage through the lifecycle of an incident to resolution
Act as a Change Coordinator and lead the local Change Approval Board (CAB) process
Perform production readiness and permit to operate reviews for new initiatives to validate production supportability
Execute Problem Management process for root cause analysis follow up and incident reduction
Maintain service uptime and MTTR targets as service level agreements
Mentor team members and ensure adequate technical and process training
Lead Manager, Appl Development->> Manages a small to medium-sized team responsible for all phases of the systems development and implementation process. Provides analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware, technology, tools, etc. Manages the development of design requirements, designs, tests, documents and implements systems and programs. Manages staff in ensuring systems are developed to meet clients' business needs and expectations. Provides training in technical tools and skills, as well as specific applications and their business functions to Completes final testing for conformance to standards and adherence to design specifications. Manages the development of modifications as needed. Develops, enhances, and maintains quality application systems to support the client area. Communicates timely and accurate project-related information to relevant parties. Encourages innovation and creativity in technology solutions. Participates in the recruiting process, instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of other applications developers, prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback. Manages a development team. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 8 + years of experience in systems analysis and program development with related supervisory, management and administrative experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Has 8+ years of experience in IT Support, Incident, Problem, and Change Management
Broad technology experience with a development background and experience in DevOps principles
Experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery and configuration management practices
Experience designing for high availability and supporting mission critical platforms
Excellent communication skills
Experience in Big Data technologies and the financial services industry a plus
