Job Description

The Candidate is responsible for the day to day activities supporting the Business in Foreign Exchange related Operations.

  • Liaise with FX Front Office, Asset Servicing, Sub Custodians on pre FX execution matters

  • Identify, investigate and resolve exceptions on pre FX execution.

  • Demonstrate ability and confidence in queries management and trouble shooting.

  • Works closely with technology and systems teams to ensure the system is efficient and incorporates any necessary risk mitigations.

  •  Liaise closely with all internal and external stakeholders for process improvements.

  • Participation in user acceptance test.
  • Provide and participate in cross training where necessary.
  • Ensure all company procedures and policies are adhered to at all times.

  • Ensure escalation of process in place. Identify gaps and bring to the attention of immediate supervisor, recommend solution and preventive measures.

  • Ability to multi task i.e. work on adhoc project assigned without compromising the daily process

  • Thorough understanding of all system functions relating to assigned roles.

  • Ensure all work procedures documented and stay current at all time.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Banking or Finance preferred
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of working experience with FX operations. Knowledge of APAC emerging markets is a plus.

  • Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player who is able to work under pressure and enjoy working in a multi-tasking environment. 

  • Flexibility and Adaptability – Job rotation, Stagger Hours, working on Public Holidays and Shift Work

  • Microsoft Office proficient – Macro, VBA knowledge is an added advantage

  • Fresh graduates are welcome
