Junior Chief of Staff/Communicator – Risk & Compliance Office of the CAO

This role is key in supporting BNY Mellon’s new Chief Risk Officer on strategic initiatives that help shape and impact the Risk & Compliance organization and align it with the bank’s overall strategic priorities.
You will help support the operations of the R&C function such as budgeting, business plans, risk related initiatives, regulatory matters, communications (presentations/speeches), and implementation of policies, standards and or processes. A large part of your role will involve collecting and synthesizing information, and translating it into various forms of messaging including but not limited to:
Collecting key information and translating it into Executive Summary in preparation for Executive Committee meetings
Weekly communications to the Chairman on Risk & Compliance activity and/or challenges
Produce presentations and ad hoc special projects in support of the CAO function

Master of PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required; MBA preferred
- 6-10 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred; at least 3 years in project management or applicable business or function and cost-effective budgetary responsibility; experience in the financial services or consulting industry is a plus
