Senior Specialist Senior Relationship Manager

Job Description

The job is comprised of six primary roles.  Each of these roles are listed below along with corresponding key functions and activities.

Service Management

  • Manage critical vendors and/or technology incidents
    • Manage critical incident process: receive technology alerts and report incidents to relevant committees
  • Conduct monthly service attainment meetings with Technology Service Group (TSG)
    • Map service architecture and verify that Service Level Deliverables are understood and adhered to
    • Maintain a log of issues/items
    • Produce a monthly technology oversight metrics report for Executive Committee
  • Change Management - manage technology change requests and present to change board and Technology Assurance Group (TAG)
    • Raise changes in JIRA and obtain approvals from impacted areas
  • Disaster Recovery (DR) Plan Coordination
    • Work with Business continuity on DR plans and ensure DR plans are up to date with business coordinators
  • Project Planning
    • Facilitate projects by providing technology lead business requirements, e.g., end user roll outs; office moves; Application Cost Allocation reviews; Infrastructure upgrades.
Governance and Oversight

  • Regulatory and audit governance and oversight and requests for information

Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with Business Vendor Manager on new technology service at idea inception
  • Contribute to commercial discussions, manage risk and define Service Level Agreements
  • Facilitate Third-Party Governance process by engaging Architecture Review Board/ECRA
  • Onboard new application/service to IT Inventory (IDIP) and work with business owner to determine the Recovery Time for Operation
  • Participate in quarterly vendor review meetings with business owner
  • Assist with managing license access control with Business Vendor Manager
  • Decommission applications


  • Offer technology-related input for system proposal, replacement, and retirement
  • Co-manage a roadmap/pipeline for technology programs and Business as Usual (BAU) activities with Business Vendor Manager
Business as Usual (BAU)
  • Address incidents and requests that fall outside of standard technology
Team Management

  • Manage time and resources assigned for technology-related business initiatives
