Provides paralegal assistance and support to the Regulatory Enforcement Investigation unit.
Primary function to assist in the intake, processing, and tracking of government legal process served on the Company (e.g., subpoenas, summons, and requests for information). Responsible for communication and correspondence with various business units, clients, regulators, and law enforcement. Review business records and prepare responsive material for production. Conduct basic research. Will work under the close supervision of attorneys and a supervisory paralegal
A paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience (up to 3 years) is strongly preferred. Experience as a paralegal will be in a corporate, government or private legal firm environment. Strong analytical skills; proven oral and written and communication skills; foundation in planning and organizing; foundation in problem analysis/solving skills; demonstrated ability to deliver precise and timely work products; ability to demonstrate initiative and high work standards; ability to multi-task and manage stress are essential.
