Job Description

 

Supports operational fund administration activities for funds, swift response to all mail queries, efficient problem resolution and risk mitigation. Consults with Supervisor on best practices, solutions and regulatory changes to support client engagement. 

  

Assigned accounts are typically small and non-complex, often a single product. Mastering the basics of the discipline and the firm's products/services. Should have basic of Fund accounting/life cycle of trade reconciliation, research and validation including complex breaks.

 

Processing of entries in accounting platform. Basics of manual interest calculations on fixed income/ Equity products. Understanding of security setups and security Specific nuances, trouble shooting on issues & understanding of their NAV impacts Corporate Action & Derivative Knowledge Portfolio Valuation & checks, Performance fees methods Understanding of Trust Setup, termination and True ups. Expense accrual and Periodic Distributions.

 

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (Commerce); Post Graduate in Business is preferred.

 

Experience: 2-4 years of total work experience; experience in brokerage/banking operations preferred.
