Regional Managing Director

Job Description

Oversees all aspects of Wealth Management product, service, and sales delivery in a specific market.  The Market Leader will report to the Regional President and will contribute to setting the regions overall strategic plan and lead the translation and implementation of that plan into a market strategy to increase AUM and revenue growth. The individual will have full responsibility and oversight for portfolio management, sales teams, and support staff in the market.  The successful candidate is expected to be highly visible and involved in leadership opportunities in the community and should be heavily involved in new client acquisition. The incumbent is responsible for driving a team based approach to client relationship management, new business development and experience integrating private banking into client offerings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for market growth, P&L and budget oversight, and development and execution of the market strategy.



The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience with 10+ years of experience in the investment management industry, as well as advanced knowledge or experience consistent with an MBA and/or a CFA.  A minimum of five years of experience in managing senior investment professionals or financial services professionals is preferred.  Experience in strategy execution and budget management is also preferred.
