Specialist, HR Policy & Governance (Policy Manager)
· Acts as HR Policy Manager overseeing the development and maintenance of BNY Mellon HR policies, ensuring an integrated, robust compendium that is informative for employees, instructional for Human Resources professionals and legally compliant to protect and manage BNY Mellon's risk exposure.
· Collaborates with peers, leaders and subject matter experts across the different HR disciplines and geographies to generate appropriate policies as well as Legal and Risk to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory/legal standards.
· Monitors corporate policy developments, ensures integration into HR policies where applicable. Ensures harmonization of policies, operating procedures and internal controls upon merger/acquisition of new entities.
QualificationsBachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in HR Operations, Risk and/or Compliance preferred. Excellent organizational and communication (oral and written) skills are a must.
