Manager, Fund Reporting

Job Description


  • Manages processes for checking for the completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements. Resolves escalated issues from team members.


  • Leads working relationships with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports and ensure they accurately depict fund performance.

  • Reviews work of team to ensure financial reporting meets Corporate and any applicable regulatory standards. Oversees process changes needed to ensure compliance with any new standards.

  • Assists in presenting fund reports to Board of Directors to ensure good governance and communication of fund status.

  • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.

  • Responsible for the achievement of team goals and objectives, talent management and supervision of team members.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Competent to have conversation with internal/ external parties on accounting concepts/ standards.


Qualifications

Qualified or Semi Qualified CA/ICMA/CS, CPA, CFA, MBA Finance, Masters/ Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.

7-10 years of total work experience in Accounting/ reporting/ finance. Experience in client and audit interactions preferred.
