Our team supports and processes specialist accounting services and more complex accounting statements on behalf of BNY Mellon Investment Trust clients. Primary services are Board paper reporting, revenue forecasting and month end management reporting in addition to technical support and oversight for NAV calculation functions & core Fund Accounting processing.
- Prepares client financial reporting packs on a monthly/quarterly basis in accordance with regulatory deadlines and client SLAs.
Prepare financial reporting schedules and information in relation to client board meetings ensuring timely and accurate delivery to agreed timetables and SLA standards
Provide technical support for the NAV calculation and fund accounting processing functions
Ensure effective recording and resolution of external / internal queries
Be aware of the risks of team operations and deliverables and assist in their management ensuring required controls maintained and compliance with procedures
Maintains records relating to assigned entities of the highest complexity in accordance with department policies and procedures and the applicable Corporate and any applicable regulatory standards. Develops processes to improve record management to maintain information and data needed for reports, improving team efficiency.
Associate's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
3-5 years of total work experience preferred. High level of attention to detail, deadline driven with good communication skills. Experienced accountant with sound double entry and financial accounting knowledge (preferable). Experience of financial reporting for Investment Trust or equivalent vehicles (preferable). IT knowledge (with excellent Microsoft Excel skills) with a keen interest in business and a desire to be proactive. The ability to be logical and objective.
