Our Production Services team runs the systems that keep BNY Mellon running.  Their mission is to deliver a full IT service management lifecycle across all run-the-bank applications and infrastructure support with the purpose of providing a controlled, secure, and predictable production environment.

The role will define strategy for network technology services for the next 3~5 years for the bank. The bank is going through a major technology transformation and this role is key to delivering the services to meet the business and technology objectives for the bank. The technology areas covered under this role include Data Network Products, Network Security Products, End Point Agents, Voice, Video and Ancillary Network Services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of the Product Strategy and P&L across network, security, voice and video services.

  • Co-ordinate the risk and compliance of the service with auditors, internal customers, information security, technology risk and compliance teams.

  • Manage the RFx process for product selection or supplier service solutions.

  • Manage the service catalogue, metrics and reporting to relevant stakeholders.

  • Manage external suppliers and drive value from the services being procured for the bank.

  • Benchmark service performance across stability, risk and cost against the industry standards.


Sr.Group Manager, Network Administration->> Manages multiple teams across business segments engaged in the operational support, installation, monitoring and maintenance for all networks. Assists in setting policies regarding the installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of standard network services and network components to provide employees with regular access to the LAN and technological environment. Coordinates network strategy with IT operations and user departments to ensure the integrity of the production environment. Contributes to developing the definition and implementation of policies, procedures and operating level agreements. Analyzes current business practices, processes, and procedures to identify future business opportunities for the expansion or enhancement of the network infrastructure. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Directs the definition and implementation of policies, procedures and operating level agreements. Manages multiple network administration teams. Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives.


  • Advanced degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience is required.

  • Ten or more (10+) years of experience in inter-networking and routing between diverse networks is required.

  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

  • Experience performing similar role in previous roles in other larger financial institutions.

  • Deep network technology knowledge across the network services.

  • Understand budgeting, financial modeling and P&L for the business.

  • Ability to lead and be self-driven to achieve the goals.

  • Experience running a team which executes such strategies with both direct and matrix reporting lines.
