  BNY Mellon is seeking a CRM Business Analyst.  Responsibilities include:  
  • The CRM Business Analyst will provide key support for the Senior CRM Business Analysts.  As a key member of the CRM Team, the incumbent may also interface with senior members of the Investment Firm(s) served. 

  • The CRM Business Analyst will support the analysis, identification, and prioritization of business requirements for complex integrations of existing and new systems into the Asset Management CRM system.

  • Responsible for understanding the business processes and requirements, and assist development of detailed requirements documentation for the technical team, which will be used to build customized applications for the particular group. 

  • S/He must be able to support such functions for medium to large-scale projects with moderate oversight.  S/He will work across multiple global internal business and technology groups and support initiatives from the initial planning through requirements documentation, testing, training, implementation and on-going support.  S/He will collaborate with the technical architects, developers and project manager throughout the process, as well as the Investment Firm(s) supported.

  • S/He will support the relationship with his/her assigned business group(s) which would comprise multiple Investment Firms with over >100 users.  S/He will support these relationships and ensure that clients are kept abreast of new CRM system functionality and how it can benefit each group.  S/He will track each group's evolving business needs and ensure that the system functionality supports them.

  • This individual interacts with various levels of the business groups as well as technology.   S/He will prepare meeting materials and lead meetings with senior managers of the lines of business and technology. 


  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience.  Concentration in Business or Finance preferred. 

  • 8 years’ experience.  6-8 years of Financial Services experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce CRM system.  S/He should have strong knowledge of all areas of the application and eventually understand the key attributes of the multiple customized applications.  In addition, the Business Analyst should have experience with best-in-class methods, tools and techniques for elicitation and documentation of client needs and requirements.  S/He must be able to support the analysis of client requirements, tracking of project progress, managing issues and risks, and identify potential roadblocks.  S/he much have strong communication and presentation skills, as well as skilled at elicitation requirements from senior stakeholders. 

  • Should have experience in functional and UAT test planning, test case development and execution.

  • Should have experience in hands-on PC training classes and creation of training materials.

  • Strong interpersonal skills required.  The incumbent will interface with IT, contractors, Investment Firm users and the broader CRM business team.

  • S/He must develop a strong understanding of each Investment Firm, as well as the CRM system in order to be the interface with Department Heads.  Must be able to liaise with all levels of staff across these departments to resolve issues.
