Ability to perform quality assurance (QA) audit related activities and work as a team member on QA assignments. When performing the lead role on an assignment, the individual may occasionally manage others, but will normally be personally involved in all aspects of the day-to-day QA work, including communicating results and developing action plans for improving adherence to methodology. The incumbent will also be responsible for the delivery of related metrics and data. The individual will be responsible for ensuring QA testing is thorough and accurate in ensuring the audits under review adhere to company policies and procedures, audit methodologies, and all applicable regulations. In this role, the individual will lead or perform QA fieldwork in accordance with Internal Audit methodologies and standards in order to identify meaningful issues as well as opportunities for improving the IA and QA methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience including 4-6 years of relevant experience. The position requires extensive experience in planning and delivering audits following the BNY Mellon Internal Audit Methodology. Auditors at this level will be expected to exercise good judgment and work independently. Preferred Qualifications: 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance; other subjects may be applicable for specialties with 6 years relevant experience, including experience in internal audit.
