Job Description

Business Process Re-engineering - M4 Manages teams of Business Process Re-engineering professionals and managers. In addition to resource management, there is a strong involvement in developing new as well as existing business. This role acts as a subject matter expert for a business process improvement. Must act as an advocate for consultants that are being managed, ensuring they develop the necessary technical and client facing competencies to increase the value they can add to a given project. Establishes the strategic approach for business process engineering within assigned area based on broad functional goals. Guides staff in strategies for building adoption and utilization of re-engineering initiatives. Has in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of business strategies and process methodologies. Provides input into the development of solutions and long term goals for the function. Employs a client-focused, strategic approach to drive adoption and utilization of business process re-engineering solutions. Demonstrates in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of firm capabilities and business process improvement techniques. Partners with business leadership to recommend and design re-engineering initiatives based on strategic goals. Conducts speaking engagements, liaises with industry and professional groups and networks with strategic decision makers. Contributes to the business intellectual capital around business process improvement and consulting approach. Responsible for ensuring that all work conducted by subordinate team aligns to necessary regulatory requirements. Assists staff in navigating Risk, Legal or Compliance requirements. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Manages a large or specialized team of professionals or multiple teams. Work is primarily accomplished through subordinate managers. Participates in the interviewing process and keeps an eye out for potential hires. Develops and oversees the achievement of area objectives. Manages the financial and human resources for the area.


Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 15+ years of total work experience with at least 5+ years in management preferred. Experience in securities, financial products and/or the finance industry preferred. Six Sigma Master Black Belt and PMP certification preferred.
