Oversee all IT vendors to ensure they are in compliance and meeting stated objectives in contracts.
Manages a small to medium-sized team within a business segment or business line activity involved with the planning, analysis, delivery and integration of systems and vendor management projects.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
Maintains knowledge of emerging technological trends and utilizes this knowledge to educate both IT and the business on opportunities to build better technology solutions relating to IT Vendors that support and drive business decisions.
Provides research and analytical support on strategic projects relating to vendors, including project status and project direction.Understands the strategic direction of the enterprise, assigned business unit, and the supporting IT systems and architectures.
Manages a strategic planning and vendor management team. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
8+ years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Experience managing IT Vendors required.
