Provides support in the execution of trade settlement services within a fixed income product group. Accesses a variety of systems and communicates with business partners, custodians and clients for trade settlement purposes. Responsible for a variety of defined procedures and acts as an escalation point for issues with trade systems. Participates in process automation by proposing, implementing and testing new solutions. Collaborates across internal teams (Portfolio Management and Accounting) in order to complete complex trade communications and settlement. Ensures trades are recorded properly and raises flags when breaks arise between trade desks and back offices. Responds to the most complex issues regarding trade settlement and guides associates in error resolution. Oversees automated and manual data upload for monthly market valuation of sub-portfolios. Must possess ability to identify and maintain data integrity. Handles complex internal and external trade settlement and market value data inquiries. Develops and maintains monthly settlement reports. No direct reports. Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
QualificationsHigh School/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3-5 year of total work experience preferred. Experience in financial investments preferred.
