Team Lead, Fund Reporting

Job Description

Fund Reporting - S5 Supervises/manages the day-to-day operations of a small-to-medium-sized fund reporting team that supports and processes accounting statements on behalf of BNY Mellon clients. Manages the work within the team and aligns team resources in accordance with client priorities and regulatory deadlines. Serves as first line supervisor for assignment of tasks and resolution of issues. Directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards, and is properly reviewed and documented. Ensures team members and more junior team leads adhere to Corporate and any applicable regulatory standards. Leads more junior team leads in the development of processes to improve record management to maintain information and data needed for reports, improving team efficiency. Supervises/manages a small fund reporting team. May be responsible for specific supervisory review and approval actions. Helps develop and contributes to the achievement of team objectives. Associates degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelors degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in accounting preferred.
