Sr. Group Manager, Third Party Governance

Job Description

The Sr. Group Manager, Third Party Governance Risk Methodology is responsible for establishing and maintaining the framework of processes, policies, systems and activities required for the management of vendor and legal entity inter-relationships across all global Legal Entities and branches. Identifies gaps in key regulator global requirements and designs, develops and leads programs to ensure these gaps are closed. Establishes and coordinates processes to evaluate the quality of supplier and interaffiliate performance across the organization. Directs the activities of professional staff and more junior managers responsible for consolidating compliance and performance information into an aggregate format; presents reporting to global senior management. Maintains strong working relationships with key business partners throughout the organization, including senior roles in Risk, Global Procurement, Finance, IT, HR and Legal. Develops the vendor and interaffiliate management governance model, including establishing standards for performance metrics and associated reporting. Directs professional staff and more junior managers in preparing TPG related reports. Distributes and presents reports to senior management on a predetermined basis, including performance metrics and associated reporting. Continuously monitors the regulatory landscape for opportunities for improvement. Initiates projects to revise policies and plans, as needed, and works closely with relevant business partners including Legal and Compliance to ensure accurate compliance with regulations. Closely involved in the preparation for and delivery of interactions with regulatory bodies. Engages with other functions across the firm including Legal, Compliance, Risk and Technology to ensure that appropriate standards for TPG policy, procedure and performance documentation is maintained in line with departmental standards and system requirements. Interacts with senior stakeholders up to EC-level to assist with the development and implementation of wider TPG management initiatives. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops professional staff and more junior managers, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability function as a team or lead their team. Responsible for the performance management processes for more junior managers. Manages the creation of Governance, Policies/Procedures, Methodologies and Tools required for the effective implementation of TPG globally. Responsible for the achievement of global goals and objectives. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. 


Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 12-15 years of total work experience, with 3-5 years of management experience, preferred.
