Securities Ops Team Leader II

Job Description

The incumbent coordinates the daily operational activities and workflow associated with cash operations, securities processing, revenue accounting, reconciliation, and client conversions. He/She is responsible for making independent decisions to meet client requests while ensuring that compliance and regulatory requirements are adhered to. The incumbent develops, reviews, and maintains business unit procedures/workflows while ensuring adherence to corporate and department policies. He/She understands and effectively uses advanced technology required for trust accounting, depository and cash movement, revenue accounting, and reconciliation. The incumbent is responsible for performing risk management activities. He/She also manages and participates in various projects to support business line needs. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve quality and streamline processing within the unit as well as coordinate system testing to ensure that changes are implemented. 4-5 years of related business experience. 2-4 years of securities, trust, or brokerage operations experience. Experience with IAS (Institutional Asset Svcg) and CMS (Custody Mgmt System) a plus.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent. BS/BA preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent client service skills; strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; self-motivated; and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven unit. Ability to work independently. Sound judgment and communication skills.
