Leads security measures for employees, clients, visitors and property at a BNY Mellon location. Assists with projects to ensure compliance with regulations and BNY Mellon policies and procedures.
Coordinates the emergency response to incidents that occur at the facility. Makes decisions regarding the need to dispatch, add, and/or post guards in response to specific incidents.
Directs and schedules 24/7 contract guard coverage for the facility. Ensures guard staff are trained on emergency response procedures.
Oversees security for special events hosted at the building. Prepares and files written security plans for each event, confers with event planners for special needs, and acts as the security subject matter expert.
Supervises the fire and life safety program, including evacuation plans and evacuation team training. Assists in conducting risk assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
Leads access control administration to include the proper issuance of access rights for the applicable region.
Provides guidance to less experienced staff; may serves as the team leader for a team of security staff.
Supports the achievement of team objectives.

High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
