Client Support Specialist II

Job Description

The incumbent will provide relationship support to an assigned Investment Manager, group or set of clients and Relationship Managers by ensuring the completion of transaction processing of domestic and global trades, foreign exchanges, currency movements, wires, ACH payments, transfers and numerous security processing requests within Family Office. In addition, incumbent will act as liaison for both clients and administrators in the research and resolution of all corporate action inquiries. Will have the responsibility for complex processing issues providing direction and resolution to clients, administrators and investment managers. Incumbent will coordinate, for their team, the impact of new business, conversions and advisor related issues. The incumbent will ensure completion of daily critical controls for their relationships that ensure compliance with internal procedures and minimize exposure. Ensures timely execution of purchases and sales of stock, bonds, treasuries, foreign exchanges and mutual funds per client requests to eliminate any market exposure. Ensures timely settlement of trading activity to reduce market exposure. Incumbent will verify client instructions for completeness and accuracy prior to actual processing of requests. Incumbent will be responsible for the research and resolution of trade, cash, security processing and corporate action related issues as they arise. Will provide day-to-day professional relationship management support to clients, administrators and investment managers and ensure that their needs and concerns are handled professionally and expediently. Incumbent will follow up to ensure timely and accurate completion of work performed on a daily basis. Incumbent will be responsible for authorization and approval of wires, foreign exchanges, currency movement, mutual fund, equity and bond trade order, as well as foreign trades.


Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business or 3+ years equivalent work experience. Incumbent must have a through knowledge of the securities and investments industry, foreign exchanges, markets and settlements in both domestic and foreign markets. Customer service and problem solving skills are required along with excellent communication skills. Must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
