Job Description

Manages one or more administration teams responsible a wide range of administrative, operational, and/or financial initiatives in support of a major segment/unit with the designated business or function. Supports cross-business and transformation initiatives. In addition to administration groups, may manage one or more business functions covering risk, strategy, audit or other related activities. Advises leaders on workforce planning activities for the business unit or function to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient resource management;; manages the partnership between the business unit/function and its human resources advisors to ensure quality hires and a motivated, engaged staff. Manages the administrative, operational and/or financial affairs of a major segment/unit within the designated business or function. In addition, may manage one or more business functions within the major segment/unit covering risk, strategy, audit or other related activities. Leads implementation of process changes to improve the client and employee experience. Drives continuous improvement through focus on service excellence, operational, regulatory, risk and control enhancements. Oversees compliance activities across the business or function. Contributes to formulating, recommending, and reviewing policies and procedures. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Conducts and manages core management reporting, dashboards and key risk indicators. Manages one or more administration teams. Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required;; MBA preferred 12+ years of experience in financial services or related business partner function with related supervisory, management and administration experience preferred;; at least 7 years of systems management and cost-effective budgetary responsibility experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
