Senior Specialist, Business Plan Analysis (Corporate Trust)

Job Description

  • Company Secretary for 5 subsidiary operating companies including liaising with the directors, external auditors and internal group finance, preparation of notices, board papers and minutes of meeting for meetings of directors, updating statutory registers, drafting and lodgment of electronic ASIC forms, attending to the subsidiaries’ ASIC industry funding levy, arranging execution of ad hoc resolutions and or documents by the directors;
  • Assistance with ad hoc risk management tasks including updating the Risk Appetite Statement, Risk Control Self-Acceptance (RCSA) the CT desktop operating procedures, business insurance, and BCP planning;
  • Working with offshore offices to complete a variety of requests including Foreign Bank Account reporting, Anti-Corruption Risk Assessments, Anti-Tax Evasion surveys, Volcker attestations, implementation of data privacy standards.
  • Assisting the Australian directors in formulating a 5 year strategy for Corporate Trust Australia;
  • Drafting informative articles on key market trends that can be used by Corporate Trust Australia;
  • Attend various industry functions and seminars to broaden your understanding of the markets in which we operate and also represent the Corporate Trust Australia brand.
  • Implementation of any regulatory projects. 


The successful individual will need a law degree or company secretariat background. 

Ideally 10+ years in Corporate Trust and an understanding of the increased regulatory risk.
